Active Physio - Extension to Existing Practie
ICG Construction Group is proud to present the successful completion of the Active Physio project, a prime example of our expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions. This significant two-story extension to the existing practice enhances the facilities and expands the service capabilities for Active Physiotherapy.
At the tender stage, we proposed a redesign of the original plans, which featured a suspended slab and extensive structural steel. In collaboration with Riverina Steel Frames, plus our innovative approach and adoption of advanced technologies, we identified significant cost-saving potential by redesigning the building to utilise Light Gauge Steel (LGS). This allowed us to replace the first floor's structural elements with LGS while still meeting all strength, stability, and performance requirements, significantly reducing the use of structural steel and cost to our client.
The architectural design of the Active Physio extension features a blend of functionality and aesthetics. Key highlights include the innovative use of contemporary materials and meticulous attention to detail in both the interior and exterior finishes. The extension seamlessly integrates with the existing structure, providing a cohesive and modernised facility for both staff and patients.
This project was completed within a dynamic, live working environment, which required meticulous planning and execution to minimise disruption to ongoing operations. Our project management and site teams demonstrated exceptional skills in coordinating with Active Physiotherapy to ensure the seamless integration of construction activities. This level of management expertise ensured safety and efficiency throughout the process, showcasing ICG Construction Group's ability to successfully handle complex projects in challenging environments.
