Borambola Sport & Recreation Centre | Conference Centre

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Borambola Sport & Recreation Centre | Conference Centre
The construction of the Borambola Sport & Recreation Centre's Conference Centre provided an exciting opportunity to create a sophisticated corporate retreat facility that embraced it's surrounding countryside on the banks of the Tarcutta Creek. Utilising locally sourced recycled materials, the building presents as a contemporary interpretation of a shearing shed aesthetic. The building consists of a large conference room with kitchen, office and storage facilities. An in-situ longitudinal spine wall separates the building from "younger" user groups while also leading visitors to the veranda deck overlooking the nearby billabong.
This project was successfully delivered in conjunction with Collins Caddaye Architects.
